Generating and nurturing leads is a process: find the right people, give them a reason to share their details, and follow up until they are ready to buy. This page walks through how I do that, and the work I have done.
I run lead generation in four stages. Each one is shaped by the brand and the audience it needs to reach.
I work out who the ideal lead is, looking at demographics, motivations, and behavior, then decide which channels to use based on where those people already spend their time.
I bring in traffic with content and SEO, capture details through landing pages, forms, and lead magnets, then nurture each lead with a segmented email sequence that moves them toward a decision.
I A/B test and monitor the campaigns to see which channels and content work, then check cost per lead and conversion rate so the budget goes to what performs.
I keep the team informed at each step, adjust as the business changes, and grow the lead generation effort as the company grows.
Here is the same process at work in my role at Automated Dreams, a B2B process automation firm. These campaigns generated more than 500 marketing contacts.
I wrote the white papers and the landing page copy, built the forms that collected leads, and embedded them on the pages so each visit had a clear next step.
I created a five-step email drip to nurture leads and A/B tested HTML against plain-text versions, then built a custom automated email workflow in HubSpot with the right triggers.
I designed the creative and launched sponsored ads on Facebook and LinkedIn that drove traffic to the landing pages, monitoring and adjusting each campaign based on performance.
Together, these campaigns brought in more than 500 marketing contacts for the business to nurture and convert.
Three lead capture pages I created at Automated Dreams, each offering a free resource in exchange for the visitor's details. All three are live.
